I had the opportunity to catch up with Clayton Patterson today. I'm in the process of writing a Tattoo History of Gotham. Clayton is an unsung mighty hero of New York City Tattooing History.  He was instrumental in getting tattooing legalized in NYC in 1997.  He was the inspiration for the creation of the Tattoo Artists' Guild (T.A.G.).  There's much more to be said about Clayton's contribution to the New York City tattooing scene.  Stay tuned people of Gotham.
